Former supermodel Janice Dickinson has been undergoing stem cell-infusion treatments in China in her latest effort to preserve her looks. The 58 year old, who has been open about her plastic surgery and Botox treatments in the past, reveals she has started visiting the Blue Horizon Stem Cell Clinic in Wuhan, where doctors take stem cells from human placentas and inject them into the face to rejuvenate tired, wrinkled skin. These are adult stem cells.
She recently underwent her first session at a cost of $10,000 (£6,670), and she admits she is thrilled with the results so far. Dickinson tells America’s Star magazine, “If anybody is going to have a state-of-the-art, revolutionary skin-care miracle, it’s going to be me, with my hand out, first in line. My skin has gone from grey to rosy pink, and I feel great…! ”

The stem cell treatment has yet to be approved by medical experts in the U.S., but Dickinson is convinced the treatments are the way of the future – and even her fianće, Los Angeles-based psychologist Dr. Robert Gerner, has given the procedure a try.
