Dr. Jeffrey Auletta says stem cells should become a staple in organ transplants.  Dr. Auletta explains: “When it comes to organ transplants what is certainly needed is an intact immune system to actually clear any infection.”

This is why stem cells are so important, especially adult stem cells.

Adult stem cells have the ability to provide immunity and as they already reside in one’s own body there is virtually no risk of rejection.
